I am going to lunch with John to gossip about yesterday!! Boy I wish I had video of yesterdays events. If it was a reality show it would be a blockbuster. Wow!!

Having a great time in NYC. The reception and exhibit at the Met was incredible. When we got to the Met the banners up and down the street had jared’s photographs on them. It was amazing. Everyone was appreciative and complimentary of jared’s work.

Yesterday we went to Chinatown had some awesome Dim Sum and got a 30 minute foot rub that just might have changed my life. Then we went to the World Trade Center which was very emotional for me. Afterwards we got on the Staten Island ferry to get a view of the Statue of Liberty which was great. We ended the evening by walking all the way up Broadway and doing cheesy souvenir shopping. Oh and Carvel ice cream in Times Square. We are actually staying in Times Square so I am actually at a Starbucks right now looking out at Broadway right now at 730 AM while Jared is still sleeping at the hotel. I am in heaven right now.

Leonard Nimoy is here at the Met. He touched Jared on the arm and he is quietly freaking out.

It is 520AM and we are on our way to the airport for a 3 day trip to NYC. This is very exciting for me because I have never been to New York. Jared was in France in January to take pictures of sculptures that will be touring the US. They debut tomorrow at the MET and we were invited to the pre reception and Jared’s photographs are in the literature and will be handed out to the press at the press conference. This is great for his career and very exciting. Will post pictures and updates to Facebook and Twitter. I probably wont be able to update here but I will try. Went to see “Shutter Island” with John last night and we went to Denny’s afterward so I got home at 330Am and I have not been to sleep. Yippee!! See you soon!!

I can’t believe it is Friday already. I am still getting over the monster cold that I have. I can’t believe I am still sick. This sucks. It is snowing like crazy right now which means we are going to be crazy at work. All the moms will bring in screaming children to become my problem today. Hurray can’t wait. Maybe I will get lucky and they will take them to the movie theater instead. I am sooooo looking forward to NYC next week. I have never been so I can’t wait to buy stuff off the street. Hahaha. If I feel better by Sunday I will post a video. I am sorry I haven’t I just have been feeling so bad.

Despite all my efforts I have been sick for almost a full week. What a nasty bug!! Yuck haven’t felt like doing anything for days. I hope this clears up soon. I feel a little better today but I still have that heavy feeling and my head is still stuffed up. Stopped drinking pop almost all together because I was convinced it was contributing to my sickness and guess what?……………. my face cleared up. My rosacea had been flaring and I was told that too much pop and dairy aggravates it. I guess it is true. I am going to try and steer clear of the pop. Hopefully coffee in the morning will be enough caffeine to keep me going. Sorry about the lack of videos but I just have not felt well enough. It is a good thing I am sick now. Hopefully that means I will be 100% for the trip to NYC next week.

So for the first time in like two years I am sick with the flu. I couldn’t get off the couch last night. Anyone who knows me knows that this is torture. I have to be moving at all times. I am trying to keep it at bay so that I am not sick for two weeks like John who is the one who got me sick. Bastard!!

Thank God Greg Biffle did not win I just have an extreme dislike for that man. But I do like Jamie!! YAY!!

Sorry I haven’t posted this week. It has been crazy to say the least. I am fine. I went for my follow up yesterday and no problems. I was sick for a couple of days but I started feeling better on Tuesday. The big news is that I have taken a full time position at Steinmart as the Lead Merchandising assistant. This is a big change for me but it was time to do it. It is going to be hard for me to let go of some of my customers. The cold hard facts are that I can not clean forever. It is good money but my knees are begging me for a break. The plus is that I really enjoy the job and have made a lot of friends. I love decorating and dressing the forms. It is like a woman’s dream job if you love fashion. I will try to post a video tonight and catch up a bit. Thanks for caring!!
